Thanks to a hot tip on Before & After’s new forum for designers (The Grid), I recently discovered Adobe’s Creative Live series of broadcast creative workshops. The 3 workshops I’ve watched so far have been so helpful and informative I just have to tell you about them.
For those who haven’t heard about it — Creative Live is Adobe’s program for presenting top experts in graphic design, photography and business. Each expert creates a 3-5 day program of intensive workshops showing in detail the secrets to their success and stunning results in their area of expertise.
The quality of the instruction, presentation, and creativity is really high. This week, I’m watching Fundamentals of Digital Photography with John Greengo. It’s a 5 day workshop from 9AM – 4PM Pacific time, Feb 18 – 22. In between sessions, Adobe re-broadcasts what they’ve just recorded – so you can catch up if you missed some or all of a session.
Once you sign up for the broadcast you can watch for free during the dates that it’s in session. You can buy the full video series for $99.00 during the broadcast event. When the event is over, you can purchase the videos for $149.
I love to take pictures, and I know that many of you who are using ShareMyGallery are (awesome) professional photographers. Go see what John Greengo has to say about getting serious about pursuing photography – check it out on Creative Live.com – and let me know what you think!
